Conditions governing participation in our professional development courses and use of the digital learning platform.
1. Purpose and acceptance of the terms
These terms of use regulate access to and use of the website darrellea.com and the professional development, skills, and education courses offered through it. By registering or enrolling in any course, the user fully and unreservedly accepts all the conditions described herein.
The user declares that they are of legal age and have the legal capacity necessary to contract the services offered. If they do not agree with these terms, they must refrain from using the platform.
2. Description of the service
We offer online courses for professional development and continuous learning in the digital environment. The content includes teaching materials, videos, practical exercises, and assessments designed for the development of specific skills.
The courses are delivered asynchronously, allowing the user to access the material during the validity period of their enrollment. Obtaining employment, external certification, or academic recognition as a result of completing the courses is not guaranteed.
3. User rights and obligations
The user agrees to:
- Provide truthful and up-to-date information during the registration process.
- Not share their access credentials with third parties.
- Use the materials solely for their personal learning, without reproducing, distributing, or commercializing them.
- Respect the intellectual property of the content and the platform.
The user has the right to access the contracted courses during the established period, to receive basic technical support, and to request information about their academic progress.
4. Platform responsibility
We commit to keeping the platform operational with the highest possible availability, without this constituting an uninterrupted obligation. We are not responsible for damages arising from improper use of the content, the user's lack of internet connection, or circumstances of force majeure.
The courses are provided "as is," without implied guarantees of specific results in the professional or employment field. The information contained in the materials is educational in nature and does not constitute personalized professional advice.
5. Intellectual property
All content, designs, logos, graphics, and teaching materials present on darrellea.com are the exclusive property of the platform or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
Reproduction, distribution, public communication, or transformation of said content without express written authorization is prohibited. The user may only use the materials for their personal study within the framework of the contracted course.
6. Payment and refund policy
Course prices are clearly indicated before purchase. Payment is made through the methods enabled on the platform. Once payment is made, the user will have a period of 14 calendar days to request a refund, provided they have not accessed more than 25% of the course content.
After said period or upon exceeding the consumption limit, no refunds will be made. Promotions and discounts are subject to specific conditions that will be communicated at the time of the offer.
7. Modification of the terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms of use at any time. Changes will be notified to users via email or through a notice on the platform at least 15 days in advance.
If the user does not accept the modifications, they may cancel their account and request a proportional refund for unconsumed courses, in accordance with the current refund policy.
8. Cancellation and suspension of service
We may suspend or cancel a user's access to the platform in the event of a serious breach of these terms, especially regarding intellectual property, misuse of the platform, or the provision of false information.
The user may cancel their account at any time by requesting it via email at info@darrellea.com. In the case of voluntary cancellation, no refunds will be made except as provided in the refund policy.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the platform shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the services, including loss of data, job opportunities, or income.
Our total liability to the user for any claim related to these terms shall not exceed the amount paid for the course in question during the last 12 months.
10. Applicable law and contact
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts and tribunals of the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, with express waiver of any other jurisdiction.
